William F- Nov 2020- Could not have had a better refinancing experience than with Guaranty Federal. First off, refinancing can be a confusing and stressful process. I have heard horror stories of long, drawn-out processes to get refinances closed--even to the point of never closing. In talking to other potential lenders, I was left shaking my head at their apparent lack of knowledge and evasiveness in their ability to answer my questions as well as the amount of time quoted it would take to close. This was definitely not the case with Guaranty. Guaranty knows getting the lowest interest rate alone should not be the goal of the process, rather it is a blend of interest rate, term, cash outlay and payout on those cash costs that results in the best financial outcome for the borrower--and they were willing and able to take the time to thoroughly explain every step of the process to me and update me all along the way. Best of all, we closed in only TWO WEEKS from application and received a competitive interest rate with minimal cash out of pocket (far lower closing costs than I was quoted by other lenders). The whole team was fantastic, but I cannot say enough about their founder and leader--Chris Peck. I cannot sing his praises enough....he was a real oasis of knowledge and experience in the sea of uncertainty I found elsewhere. I could not believe the ease I experienced all through the process.

Unfortunately, this lien created much heartache, stress, time, and redundant financing applications for us, the buyers. If you want to get approved in a short period of time with no nonsense, I highly recommend Guaranty Federal Mortgage!!! This company does not mess around; they get down to business. GFM is all about providing front-end information so you fully understand what is necessary upfront in regards to the paperwork. We had an experience with Quicken Loans where it took almost 5 weeks into the process to find out that we still did not provide enough paperwork. At this point, we were fed up with Quicken!!!!! Our Real Estate Agent recommended GFM. What took Quicken 5 weeks took GFM 8 days respectively. I’ll I can say is that this company is ON IT!!! Best experience ever!!!
